• Forward modules (current best available), at least one irradiated one with ABCD3TA chips, same programs as Barrels with Bias, Angle & Magnet scans

• Efficiency of strips near the edge of the module. In Atlas, the few strips of module overlap will be used for module-to-module alignment.

• All modules will be subjected to a full electrical characterisation before installation at H8, e.g., in B186.

• Once installed in H8 and cooled to operating temperatures, we will perform a reduced characterisation using the trim and mask files already available. A detailed response curve under operating conditions and nominal bias voltage (150V unirradiated, 350V irradiated) will be obtained. These response curves will be then be used to set the nominal thresholds for the beamtest runs.

• Data Run
  In previous years our typical data run has been 5000 events, taking around 10 minutes. This year the SPS spill length has been increased from 3.2 of 14.4 seconds to 5.2 of 16.8 seconds. The offline preference is for at least 15000 events. Use 15000 events as the standard run size.

• Threshold Scan
  Following previous years, the standard threshold scan should consist of an automated sequence of runs at the following 16 nominal thresholds: 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 6.0
  Use the macro TBSpecial(15000) or TBSpecialSelect(15000) for this scan. TBSpecialSelect() allows to restart a scan from any point, eg, after a crash.

• Bias Scan
  We define standard bias scans for unirradiated and irradiated modules, to be conducted in parallel:
  Unirradiated: 100V, 150V, 200V, 250V
  Irradiated: 300V, 350V, 400V, 450V
  Use the macro TBSetBias(150,350) etc. to set these voltages.
  Note: K229 cannot be biased above 175V, so the TBSetBias() limits this module to 175V.

• Magnet Magnet ON is 5000A for 1.56T.
• Nominal conditions for all runs unless otherwise indicated:
  Edge OFF (0); Compression ANYHIT (0); Bias Voltage 150V (unirradiated), 350V (irradiated); Normal Incidence (Angle 24mm) ; Magnet OFF
